We are overjoyed to be reopening Depot Galleries to the public this Saturday from 11am, with two fabulous exhibitions to view along with a number of works from our stockroom.
Make sure to check out PulseArt's exhibition in the Street Front Gallery which will only be up for an extra week or so ending on 30 November.
Hana Carpenter's exhibition in Central Gallery is also not to be missed and ends on 8 December.
For the safety of our community, artists, and Depot Artspace whānau, please wear a mask, scan in, sanitise your hands at the door, and keep two metres apart from other visitors. There will be a 4 person limit on visitors at any one time, but please don’t let this deter you from visiting – if there is a short wait, we are surrounded by a number of lovely cafes that are serving contactless coffee just down the road!

Kauri dieback disease is a serious problem in New Zealand. On this training, you will learn more about the problem and what we can do to stop this plague from spreading.
This is a combined training that has 2 sections:
1) The kauri care for homeowners section will be done first. We recommend anyone with kauri on their property to join in, or if you are simply interested in understanding the disease and maintaining the health and safety of our precious taonga.
2) The kauri dieback certification section of the workshop focuses on upskilling volunteers to safely continue to work in areas with kauri. The certification will allow you to enter the reserve in the case of kauri dieback closures.
