labour's election enticements
Labour has announced an increased in child support which I have no objection to. We are all having hard times with possibly getting harder next year. But Labour especially while in Govenment and National if they get into power given any thought to increasing the Superannuation payments. Older people on fixed incomes are finding it tough and in a lot of cases have to choose whether they have lunch or dinner which is ridiculour. I am a superannuitant and find it hard to manage. I'm sure we are all very grateful for the energy payment but now we have another crisis which inflation not going down but up and up. We are supposed to get 60% of the average wage but I don't see how they work that out on the payments we get. Wages are continuing to rise to meet inflation figures but nothing is done to alter the payments to superannuation.
Labour needs to remember that us over 65-90s have a big say in the elections and can sway one government to another and visa versus.
If anybody from the Labour Goverment is reading this post please consider us and not throw us in the trash can. We have put the country in the position it is in where people prosper.
That's my 2-penneth worth and hope they do something
