What weird and wacky things have you been doing to conserve water?

Summer is hot on our heels, however Auckland is still facing a water shortage and Watercare is asking us to save 20 litres of water per day each. The usual water-saving suggestions include turning the tap off while brushing your teeth or collecting cold water from the shower for the garden, but we'd like to hear from those who going the extra mile to minimise their water usage.
