Missing Cat
Does anyone recognise this cat? He looks to be a rag doll and not in good shape with his fur and always hungry. He’s been hanging out with my fur boys and makes himself at home but I think he’s lost. Have asked around the neighbours but they don’t recognise him. I’ve just moved into Ada St . Am trying to catch him to take to the vet to see if microchipped but he shoots off and his matted fur makes him flinch when touched it seems . He’s a lovely nature but needs to find his owners. Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
