Trio Jackson concert : school fundraiser
Hey everyone - we're doing a fundraiser for our school. Please join us on 12 March. Why?
1. Have you heard of kiwis supporting local tourism? Tourism get's more media attention than musicians, but our local musicians have been hit by covid too. By coming, you'll be supporting some amazing local musicians of international quality. They can't travel overseas right now - so the world's loss is our gain.
2. It supports the school.
Our son's school does a lot of extra-curricular camps where kids learn about the natural environment and do real-life confidence-building. All profits go to their extra-curricular camps.
3. We're really lucky we can actually go to live events like this. Grab the chance!!!
4. Most importantly, the music is incredible and you'll have a great time with friends and family.
Trio Jackson plays music that is live, moving, warm, emotive, and engaging. People who see them play frequently use words such as "mesmerizing" and "spellbound" to describe their performances.
Literally, they use a combination of guitar and violin to travel through an elaborate array of Spanish, gypsy, jazz and original music - but really, hearing them is like hearing what love sounds like, as expressed through stringed musical instruments.
"OK - enough, I'm coming, when is it?"
* 7.30pm Friday 12 March.
Just say "i'm in" below and I'll arrange the rest.
See you there !!

Auckland Harbour Bridge summer works

The southbound clip-on lanes will be closed (24/7) from 26 December to 5 January for road resurfacing. Night-time lane restrictions will be in place throughout the summer for recoating work on the bridge. Traffic will still be able to travel in both directions at all times.
