Education
I am 79. At school I was treated as and told I was useless by many teachers. Most made no attempt to find out or remedy why I was not meeting the same standards as others. The answer was very simple and nothing to do with ADHD or anything like that. The remedy was in the teacher’s hands but they were not interested in finding it except ONE. After leaving school I became an assistant company secretary in a large public company. I was a social work manager specialising in child abuse and psychiatry. I ran my own law business and in New Zealand set up and successfully ran and sold my own retail business. A financial success of my own making in spite of !!! I am not blowing mY own trumpet. I am saying to teachers and parents look at how children are learning .
