Volunteers wanted
South Auckland House of Science relies on volunteers to service the primary school students of East/South Auckland. I am looking for volunteers to
join a small team to help process the kits that have been returned from our member schools. This involves checking the equipment in the kit (cleaning if necessary) and restocking the consumables. Must have a reasonable command of written English.
We operate on a fortnightly loan system and require help every second Friday from 10 am during the school terms.
I do require volunteers on Friday 5th July, or else it will be from Friday 2nd August.
Please email Andrea at southauckland@houseofscience.nz or phone/text 0211297570 for more details. Thanks!

What's your favourite tomato recipe?
Kia ora neighbours. We know your tomato plants are still growing, but we're looking ahead to the harvest already! If you've got a family recipe for tomatoes, we'd love to see it and maybe publish it in our magazine to share with our readers. Send your recipe to mailbox@nzgardener.co.nz, and if we use it in the mag, you will receive a free copy of our February 2025 issue.
