Ideas for Using Shelving With Storage Units Effectively

Alan Storage from Kiwi Self Storage - Ellerslie

Self storage is a cost effective way of increasing space in residential or commercial settings. It is important to make the best use of the space you are renting to ensure it is cost effective.

Many of our storage units are up to 2.7m high, meaning that a lot of space can be gained by stacking your items vertically. Shelving allows you to do this without damaging your property in a safe manner.

Follow the link to our article on options for shelving in your storage units. If you need more information , please give us a call or arrange to call in to discuss your options.

Carpet inspection needed

Karen from Saint Johns

Hi
I've just had new carpet laid throughout my house. I'm not happy with the result, as pieces don't match where they should, and in a hallway there are 5 joins where should not have been more than two. The supplier says there's nothing wrong. I would like a professional carpet person to look at it for an independent assessment. Does anyone know of someone who could do this?

Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙

One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.

So we want to hear what you think:
Should the government ask these industries to contribute?

Poll: Should complete designs be shared with the public, or should the community help shape the designs from the start?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

The Post recently shared an opinion piece on the Harbour Crossing and why a more democratic approach might be needed 🚗🚲👟

While most decisions sit within the political arena, many organisations—like NZTA—manage long-term projects that go beyond party lines. Politics can sometimes disrupt progress, and the next Harbour Crossing is a big decision that will affect all Aucklanders.

We’d love your thoughts: Should near-complete, shovel-ready designs be shared with the public, or should the community have a hand in shaping the designs from the start?
