🧣❄️Winter Pet Care Tips 🧣❄️
Brrr! As the temperatures drop, don’t forget our furry friends feel the cold too!
❄️Warm Bedding – Make sure your pet’s bed is off the cold floor and away from drafts.
❄️Keep Pets Toasty—not Toasted: Pet's curosity and warmth seeking instincts can lead to the risk of serious scalds from hot drinks, hot water bottles and electric blankets.
❄️Arthritis Alert – Cold weather can worsen joint pain. Book a check-up if your senior pet seems stiff or slow.
❄️Coats for Walks – Short-haired or senior dogs benefit from a warm jacket during chilly walks.
❄️Watch the Weight – Pets may be less active in winter. Keep an eye on treats and portion sizes!

Some Choice News!
Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?
Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
