NZNO nurses strike today - please keep Middlemore Hospital ED free for those who really need it
New Zealand Nursing Organisation (NZNO) members are taking part in a national strike from 11am to 7pm today which will have a significant impact on the services CM Health is able to provide. Our Emergency Department is open and we are here if you need us, but please keep our emergency departments for emergencies only.
Non-urgent surgeries, procedures and outpatient clinics will be postponed, but will be rescheduled as soon as possible. All impacted patients have been or will be contacted.
To further support the impacts of the strike, through tonight we are offering free urgent care at eight clinics to eligible people in our community. More info on our website - link below.

We're back with a Neighbourly Q&A session. This time with Dr Corey Regnerus-Kell who is a qualified veterinarian and SPCA’s General Manager Animal Services.
A little bit about Corey:

Dr Corey Regnerus-Kell is excited to answer your questions on all things animal welfare, whether it's how to best look after your new pet, how to combat separation anxiety or how to report neglect.
