Restricted access to Auckland Work and Income office following threat
Hi neighbours, a threat to staff at a Work and Income centre means those visiting will need identification and a reason why.
On Thursday morning, the Ministry of Social Development's Ōtāhuhu Service Centre in south Auckland was put into lockdown.
A police spokesman said a man who made threats to staff working at the centre on Fairburn Rd earlier in the week was seen outside and, as a precaution, staff closed the doors and contacted police.
