Production Supervisor (Shift 2IC) role at Griffin's Papakura
The role:
We are seeking an experienced supervisor to join our Biscuits and Crackers team as a Line Coordinator on Morning Shift (12.05am - 8.05am). This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and motivated leader to shape and co-ordinate the production team to achieve targets in full and on time. In conjunction with the Line Leader, this role is accountable for the daily line operation, team deployment, efficiency, waste and plan attainment.
Key responsibilities:
- Facilitate effective shift hand overs and ensure team communication meetings take place
- Confirm labour allocation is correct in advance to meet skill requirements for the production plan
- Oversee that all manufacturing documentation is accurately completed and collated
- Ensure the teams adhere to Food Safety and quality standards
- CCP and QCP measures are maintained and accurately documented
Skills and experience:
The successful candidate will have sound leadership skills to lead, inspire and develop a team. Previous experience supervising a team and in an FMCG manufacturing environment is preferred.

Night-time chipsealing works on SH2
From 9 to 17 February, stop/go traffic management will be in place on SH2 between McPherson Road and Dimmock Road on multiple nights between 9pm and 5am (Sundays to Thursdays).
During the day, all lanes will be open, but speed restrictions will apply to allow the chipseal to set and to protect vehicles travelling over the newly laid surface.
There may be delays to your journey when travelling through the area. This is weather dependent so check NZTA Journey Planner before you travel.
