South Auckland - Our Early Years Toolbox Course is coming your way!

Vanessa from Flat Bush

Are you, or anyone you know, interested in participating in a Toolbox Early Years course coming up in Term 4?
Toolbox courses inspire and equip families. They are bursting with great advice, humour and encouragement, offering practical strategies and insights into developmental stages. Parents leave reassured that challenges are common to all families and that they are not alone on their parenting journey.
The next 6 week course is starting on the 24th October in Randwick Park. All welcome!
The most important years in your child’s development are these early years. No one will influence your child’s future more than you will. Remember, when it comes to your child’s development, you are the builder and everyone else is merely a sub-contractor. Toolbox is there to help you enjoy these years with your child.
During these six sessions you will discover and apply new tools and strategies to use with your family. Our hope is that by the end of this course you will have the skills to set appropriate boundaries for your child and develop a strong and loving bond with them.
Never forget – the effort you put into parenting your children during these early years will have enormous pay-offs in the future.
What’s covered:
Session 1 – Parent types
Session 2 – Development stages
Session 3 – Tools for engaging cooperation
Session 4 – Discipline
Session 5 – Making memories
Session 6 – Being the parent your child needs
Or contact Susan 027 240 8318 or email hippy@randwickpark.school.nz
Course costs $75 per person but subsidies are available.

Poll: Should you ask before planting tall shrubs/trees near your property line?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

It may be fine now but in a few years trees can block out light or views for neighbours.

Do you think neighbours should ask before they go ahead and plant these?
