Family Historian and Author to hold Talk
On Tuesday 15 July, Papatoetoe Historical Society will be hosting a FREE talk by Tauranga-based family historian and author Rod Smith!
WHERE: Papatoetoe Hunters Corner Bowling Club (247 Great South Road, Papatoetoe). Entry is free for all.
WHEN: 15th of July (Tuesday), 7:30 PM.
DESCRIPTION: Rod Smith is a former journalist and public servant who will be presenting a double bill one-hour talk on the topic of the NZ connections of the Guinness family and their beer, alongside the Irish Nobility's involvement in the Invasion of the Waikato through the Clancarty family.
