DESCRIPTION: Rod Smith is a former journalist and public servant who will be presenting a double bill one-hour talk on the topic of the NZ connections of the Guinness family and their beer, alongside the Irish Nobility's involvement in the Invasion of the Waikato through the Clancarty family.

DESCRIPTION: In 2024, Sue and Brian FitzPatrick walked 230 km from Porto in Portugal to Santiago in Spain, following in the footsteps of pilgrims who had walked a similar route over the last twelve centuries. They will share what they found interesting in their journey.
