Meet Richard from Kingsland

The Team from Auckland Humanity Project

What's the one thing you need most right now?

"I need time. Life is very busy, and time is my scarcest commodity.

I want time for me; time to do the things I really value, not just the functions of life, the getting the food and doing the gardens, those sorts of things. I want to have time to do the things I really value.

What I really value is environmental restoration. So, I spend my weekends planting trees, and I’d really like to do that fulltime, but I can’t see anyone paying me fulltime to do that. I’d just love to be planting trees all the time."

Poll: Should you ask before planting tall shrubs/trees near your property line?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

It may be fine now but in a few years trees can block out light or views for neighbours.

Do you think neighbours should ask before they go ahead and plant these?
