Deb’s film of her meeting LEONARD BERNSTEIN will have you aching with laughter and move you to tears.
With only a guitar and a raft of lovable characters, Deb is a one-woman tour de force in this jam-packed, music-filled show. Past shows have had her bake challah bread onstage (Filler Up!) or playing 36 characters in an unforgettable journey (Punch Me in the Stomach.) Her masterful story-telling chocka full of inspired, joyful music and humour continues to illuminate stages internationally.
“Side splittingly funny. These are masterful tales, and the show is not to be missed.” Helen Clark, former NZ Prime Minister
“In the end, what makes her performance so irresistible is her innate mimetic genius – her sharp, compassionate observation of people, her instinct for spot-on timing and just-right exaggeration, her amazingly limber facial expression and body language. But, most of all, it’s the unfeigned warmth of her connection with her audience” – Vancouver Observer
