A West Auckland liquor store chain will reopen all of its 27 outlets after armed robberies forced a complete lockdown.
The West Liquor and Village Wines and Spirits stores in Auckland were shut down on Monday, after Te Atatu Village Wine and Spirits and West Liquor New Lynn were both robbed.
All stores will now resume normal trading hours.

Only a few liquor retail outlets to reopen under restricted hours after armed robberies

Highlights include improvements to Westwave leisure centre, Massey community centre, Moire park, and Kelston Community centre. The board allocated $194,000 for environmental programmes, while a Young Enterprise Scheme will help young people into work.
