I require volunteers to help me process our amazing science kits that get picked up and delivered to schools across East & South Auckland each fortnight. When the kits are returned to base, they need to be cleaned and consumables topped up.
If you can spare a couple of hours on these dates, I'd love to hear from you:
Friday Feb 24th or Monday Feb 27th
Friday Mar 10th or Monday Mar 13th
Friday Mar 24th or Monday Mar 27th
Thursday April 6th.
Drivers are also welcome (own vehicle required).
Please contact me (Andrea) on 021 129 7570 or email southauckland@houseofscience.nz

Some Choice News!

Kia pai from Sharing the Good Stuff

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?

Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
