Free Strength & Balance Exercise Class

Fridays 10.30am-11.30am starting 5 August 2022 at Highland Park Library with a qualified instructor from Age Concern. The gentle exercises used in this programme are based on those proven to reduce falls from the University of Otago. The exercises are designed to improve balance, leg strength, general fitness and well-being. This class consists of the same exercises every week, so you can track your progress and see your strength improve over time. A falls prevention programme for seniors.

We're back with a Neighbourly Q&A session. This time with Dr Corey Regnerus-Kell who is a qualified veterinarian and SPCA’s General Manager Animal Services.

A little bit about Corey:
Corey has an interest in veterinary medicine, animal welfare, and biosecurity. He shares his home with ostriches, guinea pigs, bees, a rescue tortoiseshell named Lynk, a ragdoll named Oscar, two mini foxies called Chester and Maya and a black Labrador named Bonnie.
