254 Ponsonby Road - the new civic space (currently LiquorLand)
The volunteer Community-Led Design Group (CLDG) has been advocating for the development of the new civic space at 254 Ponsonby Road for over 10 years so we are abuzz with excitement!
2024 is the year that it's finally going to become a reality ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.
The on-site work is scheduled to begin in February so hang on to your hat because soon this unloved and ugly site will be transformed into a beautiful oasis for everyone to enjoy.
Bring it on!
Poll: Have you ever been bullied?
People associate bullying with children in schools, but it can actually stretch beyond childhood to workplaces or neighbourhoods.
This Friday is Pink Shirt Day, which began in Canada in 2007 when two students took a stand against homophobic bullying after a new student was harassed for wearing pink. People across the globe are now encouraged to wear pink on this day to take a stand against bullying and promote inclusivity.
Have you or your whānau ever experienced bullying? Share your thoughts on Pink Shirt Day below.
