Christmas at the Beach - Blockhouse Bay
So this Sunday night we’re going to be down at the BHB Beach Reserve, with a FREE AND FABULOUS programme for kids from 5pm. Due to the large amount of people last year we’ve got MORE facepainters, MORE balloon twisters, a BIGGER Beach treasure hunt, and all being well a water slide (may want to pack a change of clothes and a towel for the kids!) that should keep the queues down, as well as the return of the nativity quest with some fabulous prizes.
There is also a FREE BOOK for kids we are giving away whilst stocks last.
Carols start later, and then they are followed by SHANE and the SHAZAM BAND. Shane is a local legend - his number 1 hit St Paul stayed at the top for 6 weeks, and his current band are possibly the best yet, he’s gigging all time and we are so lucky to have them. So dig out your DANCING shoes, and grab a picnic or browse the FOOD TRUCKS.
This event is run by the BHBay Churches, with thanks to our sponsors the Whau Local Board and Ray Whites.
Shuttles run from Iona and Church of the Saviour (Kinross St) carparks for ease of parking, 5pm-6pm and 7pm-9.45pm.
