Cleaning

Helen from Mission Bay

I tired out a new cleaner today which I saw a post on Neighbourly and thought I would try them out. I have two ovens that really needed a good clean as they haven't been done for some time! Mac (Mushfiq) came to do this job for me and arrived at 1pm and took him 3.5hrs to give them a really good clean(they were so dirty). I was very impressed with his lovely manner and the way he conducted himself. I would highly recommend him and his wife Tanzina who I haven't meet as yet as the job was just a one person job. I will be using him/them again.

Poll: Should we be giving the green light to new mining projects? 💰🌲

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

The Environmental Protection Authority announced this week that a proposed mine in Central Otago (near Cromwell) is about to enter its fast-track assessment process. A final decision could come within six months, and if it’s approved, construction might start as early as mid-2026.

We want to know: Should mining projects like this move ahead?

Keen to dig deeper? Mike White has the scoop.

So here’s the question: why do we get so excited when a new store opens? Convenience? Curiosity? A reason for a weekend outing? We’d love to hear your thoughts!
