Sunday Funday at St Heliers
Roll into summer with us at St Heliers Bowling Club. Sunday 11 December 1pm-4pm. Meet up for a coffee or lunch and some shopping in St Heliers and then Have A Go at lawn bowls at the Club and maybe a sausage and bevvie while you are there.
We have plenty of options for new bowlers to learn as you play with weekly roll ups, coaching sessions and mentoring. If the rain keeps you away this Sunday, please stop in or get in touch stheliersbowlingclub@gmail.com. We would love to meet you!
Some Choice News!
Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?
Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
