Public Meeting hosted by SImon O'Connor to discuss Kainga Ora developments in Glendowie

Stephanie from Glendowie

Kainga Ora have two social housing developments planned for Glendowie - Crossfield/Cranbrook and Cardinal Place. Simon O'Connor has arranged a public meeting at the Glendowie Community Centre, on Thursday 29th July at 7pm, with representatives from Kainga Ora present to outline and discuss these developments.
The event will have a presentation from Kainga Ora, time for questions and then for those who would like to stay, the representatives will be available for further discussion in smaller groups/one on one.
The Crossfield development has been submitted to Council for resource consent, I would urge you, if you have comments/thoughts/concerns about either development, to attend this meeting.

Please get in touch if you have any questions or have missed my previous posts on the We love Glendowie or the St Heliers Glendowie Residents Association Facebook pages, and if you are going to attend please can you indicate it on Simons meeting invite (numbers for seating). Thanks

Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.

This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.

Do you think this ban is reasonable?
