Thanks to Kerrie from The Beacon for publishing this article for us in July 2022. It is a reminder to us all despite the challenges of the last year that we did achieve some great things. We could not achieve what we did without our loyal book sale attendees, so thank you too.
Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?
With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.
This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.

Xmas lights exploded
My Christmas tree lights controller exploded in a ball of flames last night, so please be careful, Ive had them for a few years. If I hadnt been in the room it would have been a fire.
