St Thomas Church is planning a fundraising gala, fair with the purpose of raising funds to the heritage stained glass windows which are in dire need of repair.
St Thomas’s has been part of our community since 1843, it was the first stone Anglican Church to be built accompanied by a graveyard which Pākehā, Pasifika, Māori were laid to rest.
The stained glass windows are an example of magnificent craftsmanship and part of our heritage, they deserve to be restored so future generations can enjoy.
