St Thomas' parish fair 18 May, 10 am to 4 pm
Hi everyone
COMMUNITY HELP REQUIRED
St Thomas Church is planning a fundraising gala, fair with the purpose of raising funds to the heritage stained glass windows which are in dire need of repair.
St Thomas’s has been part of our community since 1843, it was the first stone Anglican Church to be built accompanied by a graveyard which Pākehā, Pasifika, Māori were laid to rest.
The stained glass windows are an example of magnificent craftsmanship and part of our heritage, they deserve to be restored so future generations can enjoy.
So if you are having a

Some Choice News!
Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?
Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
