The University of the Third Age (U3A) is an international movement whose aims are the education and stimulation of mainly retired members of the community—those in their third 'age' of life.
U3A Mt Albert meets 10-12 noon on the third Tuesday of every month at Western Springs Garden Community Hall, 956 Great North Rd (We meet this coming Tueaday 18 April). Interesting guest speakers. Members come from all walks of life. Visitors and new members are welcome.
In addition to this main meeting, over twenty interest/study groups meet regularly.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
