Free Introduction to Meditation
September is Auckland's annual Meditation Month! Interest in meditation is at an all-time, city-wide high and you're invited to participate in our upcoming 'Learn Meditation' introductory course this coming Saturday, Sept. 7th. Covering a wide canvas of meditation practices including breath control, visualisation, mantras, heart centre meditation; the main branches and paths of yoga; and how to bring the benefits of meditation into daily life.
Venue: Mt Eden War Memorial Hall, 489 Mt Eden Rd, (upstairs Chamber Room,) from 10:00am - 2:30pm. Ample street parking, no need to bring anything. Vegetarian lunch on request.

Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?
As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
