CAN YOU HELP !!
On Saturday, October 7th, Shanti Niwas Charitable Trust is celebrating International Day of Older Person in Onehunga. This is a free to the community event.
Lots of activities for Seniors and their families have been organised, includes Seniors Idol competition, multi cultural performances, face painting, music, food stalls, henna stall, information stalls, Bollywood workshops and so much more.
We are looking for anyone with experience in face painting to volunteer on the day.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
