E-Waste| Phone phones

John Sammut from Disabled Citizens Society

At DCS we've been getting enquiries on recycling phones (even the old flip ones), in particular secure destruction seeing they hold a lot of sensitive information including bank details and personal images. If you're concerned about this, we're here to help, for $5 per device we will shred your phone and provide a Certificate of Destruction, at DCS we're got you sorted.

The long weekend is the perfect time to make your place safer for an earthquake with these steps:

• Find out where you can turn off your water and gas mains
• Check your chimney for any signs of wear and tear, or damage
• Check your home's foundations are secured
• Move heavy items that are up high to safer, lower down locations.
