- The… View moreKmart has recalled a line of wooden trays after reports of an invasive wood-eating beetle species within them. A Northland woman found sawdust and holes in her serving tray and alerted the Ministry of Primary Industries (MPI), the government’s biosecurity agency.
What you need to know:
- The product is called Large $20 Acacia Serving Tray and was sold nationally.
- The product may be infested with Lyctus africanus (also known as the African powderpost beetle), a species not present in New Zealand.
- Kmart are no longer selling these products and will wait for instruction from MPI before destroying these.
Anyone who finds a suspected exotic pest is encouraged to call MPI’s hotline on 0800 80 99 66.

Yoga for the older bodz and budz. 🙂 Influenced by somatics, these mindful movement and breath practices stimulate flow within in the body, regulate the nervous system, aid in one's balance and mobility.
Plus, they're a good time. I make these classes fun and playful, and it's also an opportunity for "old friends" to make "new" friends! 🥳
Whether one is a "golden-oldie yogi" or a "golden-novice" curious to start their yogic journey (for it's never too late to 😉) these classes will suit all levels.

They drive me mad that they get away with such hideous noise levels.
Funny thing is that if my car exhaust made anywhere near their noise i would fail wof and be ticketed.

A number of interfaith music groups will share their music on stage in the Hillsborough Room, following the popularity and successes of our larger interfaith and cultural concerts in earlier years.
Some six different groups from Buddhist, Christian, Hindu, Hare Krishna and Jewish traditions are so far participating, with more expected.
The evening will provide an opportunity to experience the music of different cultures, forge new friendships and to reconnect with old friends after a couple of challenging years.
We’ll have a wide selection of vegetarian snacks and refreshments post-concert.
