Immerse yourself and your whānau into the world of Māori narratives and nature, interwoven with iwi and local stories. This is Active Whakapapa, an incredible experience educating about the Māori land. Enjoy a scenic walk and listen to the narrative through your headset technology as you are guided around the West Auckland Park.
Tickets limited, book your free ticket for Saturday 18 June at Henderson Park or Saturday 2 July at Orangihina, 11.30am start.

Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?
With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.
This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.
