Exquisite Vintage 1930s Sutherland China Imari Style Tea Cup and Saucer

Markus from Green Bay

Very Rare Vintage 1930s Sutherland China Imari Style Tea Cup and Saucer

Cup & Saucer, Pattern 2534

Two available, $49 each

see www.etsy.com...

This bone china cup and saucer were made by Sutherland between 1936 and 1941. The pattern is in the Imari style and colors which were so popular in that period. It has cobalt blue bands with orange and yellow flowers. Everything is highlighted in gold trim. The pattern is numbered 2534. Both pieces are in very good condition - I suspect they have spend most of their 80+ years lifetime in a display cabinet.

Price: $49

Some Choice News!

Kia pai from Sharing the Good Stuff

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?

Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
