Auckland Museum reopening this Friday
We're reopening our doors this Friday 19 Feb at 10am! We'll be spending tomorrow getting everything ready for you, including all the extra Level 2 procedures to keep you safe.
We're excited to let you know that Brickman Awesome: Epic LEGO® Creations will open at Level 2, however in the interest of safety the high-touch building stations won't be available. Other high-touch galleries including Weird and Wonderful and the Volcanoes gallery will be closed until Level 1, however most of the Museum will be available to wander. You'll also be able to enjoy our cafés and browse the Museum Store.
Tours will kick off again at Level 1. Our bookings team will be in touch if you've booked a tour between Thursday - Monday.
For more information about visiting in Level 2, please head to our website here: bit.ly...
We hope to see you soon!
Live Q&A: Garden maintenance with Crewcut
This Wednesday, we are having another Neighbourly Q&A session. This time with John Bracewell from Crewcut.
John Bracewell, former Black Caps coach turned Franchisee Development Manager and currently the face of Crewcut’s #Movember campaign, knows a thing or two about keeping the grass looking sharp—whether it’s on a cricket pitch or in your backyard!
As a seasoned Crewcut franchisee, John is excited to answer your lawn and gardening questions. After years of perfecting the greens on the field, he's ready to share tips on how to knock your garden out of the park. Let's just say he’s as passionate about lush lawns as he is about a good game of cricket!
John is happy to answer questions about lawn mowing, tree/hedge trimming, tidying your garden, ride on mowing, you name it! He'll be online on Wednesday, 27th of November to answer them all.

Poll: Should all neighbours have to contribute to improvements?
An Auckland court has ruled a woman doesn’t have to contribute towards the cost of fixing a driveway she shares with 10 neighbours.
When thinking about fences, driveways or tree felling, for example, do you think all neighbours should have to pay if the improvements directly benefit them?

Careful what you chew!
A recent case , at CM Dental on Lincoln Road,
The patient tragically fractured their upper premolar chewing. yes that's possible so don't crunch bones, beer bottles etc. with your teeth!!! Be careful with the holiday fare and New Year Festive Turkey Drumsticks on the barbecue.
We saved this one sometimes we can't
We first isolated the tooth from his mouth and the salivary bacteria with a temporary filling, applied a rubber dam and root filled the tooth.
We then preserving as much tooth tissue as possible prepared the tooth for a crown and later cemented this in place giving a beautiful cosmetic result. cmdental.co.nz...
