Not only does this pollute the water in the creek but Pukeko & their chicks as well Ducks with their ducklings were eating it and this is how they become very ill with Botulisum & this is a death sentence for them as Birdcare Aotearoa no longer take in or treat sick ducks anymore & the majority of vets only offer euthanasia.
If you want to dump you moldy bread at least put in the bin at parks and reserves, don't throw it on the ground or in the water where animals can eat it !!!

Recent fires have caused serious damage to these sacred sites โ including Te Pane o Mataoho / Mฤngere Mountain last year. Even one spark can harm the cultural and natural beauty of our maunga.
Letโs protect these special places together.

Missing: a copper โcookerโ coil that my husband, Keith, purchased from his employer, Cadbury, when they closed his old place of work, the Pascals sweet factory in Rosebank Road, Avondale in 2009.
Location of theft: View Road, Henderson, West Auckland. Thieves spotted the sculpture at 4:15am and came back and collected it at 5:35am, see photos.
Keith died of Motor Neurone Disease in 2022. And this memento means as much to me as it did to him. The sculpture has been in two of our gardens for the last 15 years and I want it back.
If you have any information please get in touch.
Please share this post if you think you have any friends who may be able to help. Thank you ๐
