Head Teacher - Opportunity

We have an opportunity for an experienced and passionate individual to lead our enthusiastic and energetic team of Early Childhood professionals at Birkdale Kauri Kids or Papatoetoe Kauri Kids.

In this role, you will be responsible for the effective management of the Child Care operations on a day-to-day basis ensuring that a high standard of customer service is provided by all staff members.

Your strong customer focus and demonstrated communication skills, combined with your ability to be an influential part of a creative, fun environment committed to quality learning outcomes where children can develop as capable, confident learners is key.

Successful candidates will hold a minimum qualification of Diploma in Teaching (ECE) and a minimum of 3 years work experience in an Early Childhood environment, as well as 2 years staff supervision experience. A current teachers registration and first aid certificate is also required.

We offer ongoing support and commitment to your personal & professional development, a childcare subsidy, and a free gym membership.

This is a permanent full-time role working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday.

This requirement complies with the Vulnerable Children Act 2014.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
