A further 12 houses had gully traps that were too low, 18 properties had suspected cracked pipes, and in five instances there were defects in manhole covers.

There are five types of stalls available this year:
• Food stall (vegetarian only, no egg products allowed)
• Sweets only
• Craft stall (music, clothes, art, etc.)
• Henna only
• Promotional stall (including charity, not-for-profit and business information)
In response to community feedback and advice, egg products will no longer be permitted in food sold at the Auckland Diwali Festival.
