Just after the WW2, the Young Family, emigrated from Scotland to Australia. They had 3 boys. George,Angus and Malcolm. George formed a band with other new Arrivals to Australia called, THE EASYBEATS, and when on to be a world class Band. After the Easybeats, George went on to Produce records for his song Malcolm who with Younger Brother,Angus, formed AC DC and thy went on to incredible success.Without George there would be No ACCA DACCA.. On 22/10/17 George passed away aged 70 and 2 days ago, Malcolm Passed away from Dementia aged 64. The family loses 2 sons in a month.. So Sad.
So Radiowave will play 4 songs from each band.. Hope you enjoy

They may feel isolated from the traditions and practices (both religious and secular), held over the festive season in our community. They may not know our popular customs of exchanging gifts, decorating Christmas trees, attending church, sharing meals with family and friends and of course, waiting for Santa Claus to arrive.
If you know of people in your neighbourhood like this, why not bring them along to C3 Howick Church, 27 Aviemore Drive, Highland Park on Friday, 24 November at 7:30pm for an evening of Christmas cheer. In this season of goodwill the evening is FREE. You’ll be warmly welcomed with an evening of music followed by refreshments. R.S.V.P. for catering purposes to c3 church office on 09 537 5146 or info@c3howick.org.nz
