City Centre Residents Public Meeting 2 March 6pm
Our next public meeting is
Monday 2 March
6pm
This meeting is an invitation for city centre residents to raise an issue/concern with us.
This would mean the audience essentially becomes the speaker/s and the CCRG team do the listening.
The annual Waitematā Local Board plan is in the making too so city centre resident views need to get into that process and document.
(The annual plan is due to take effect on 1 July 2026. It sets out what the local board plan to achieve over the next financial year and how we will fund these plans)

Bring your city centre passion - sure!
But let's keep it focused, civil, and to the point.
Poll: Are you still heading to your local for your caffeine fix, or has the $$ changed your habits? ☕
Auckland has a thriving cafe culture, but with costs climbing, that culture is under pressure. We’ve seen the headlines about recent closures across the country, and it’s a tough pill to swallow along with a $6+ coffee.
We all want our favourite spots to stay open, but we also have to balance our own budgets ⚖️
We want to know: How are you handling the "coffee math" in 2026? Are you still heading to your local for a chat and a caffeine fix, or has the cost of living changed your habits?
Keen to read more about "coffee math"? The Post has you covered.
