Meet the Candidates - City Centre Residents Tues 13 Sept!
Come along next Tuesday to the Ellen Melville Centre - door open at 5.30pm with a chance to chat with candidates for the Waitematā Local Board directly before the formal Q&A starts at 6pm.
This session is designed to have the candidates talking about our neighbourhood, the vertically-inclined city centre.
Voting papers are out soon so this will be a once in a life-time opportunity to get a sense of the people standing up and seeking your vote to lead in the community.
Local Boards are the immediate interface with community activity and advocacy - your vote counts toward neighbourhood building.

Poll: As a customer, what do you think about automation?
The Press investigates the growing reliance on your unpaid labour.
Automation (or the “unpaid shift”) is often described as efficient ... but it tends to benefit employers more than consumers.
We want to know: What do you think about automation?

-
9.4% For. Self-service is less frustrating and convenient.
-
43.6% I want to be able to choose.
-
47.1% Against. I want to deal with people.
