Scavenger Hunt
If you have not experienced the scavenger Hunt created by Parnell Business I suggested to jump to it!
TODAY IS THE FINAL DAY
The starting point for this scavenger hunt is Holy Trinity Cathedral, corner of St Stephens Ave and Parnell Rd and the details of how to begin are all there on the sign board by the gold and white whales tail. You upload an app that directs you where to go.
The hunt tests your knowledge of the Parnell and its history ( which I'm happy to report Poppy and I apparently know quite well) and gives you short time frames to answer questions once you arrive at pin points on the map.
As an added bonus there are spot prizes that are emailed out after you are done and we were excited to receive one from @AtelierShu in Faraday St, which we can't wait to use.
The hunt is one all day today, is completely free and Poppy and I decided on a late afternoon hunt which was fantastic.
The highlight of the walk was the virtual experience at Fraser park. There you can upload a filter to facebook or Insta stories and discover floating whales. It was the last light of day as we reached the end of our scavenger hunt and so we uploaded the app and scanned the grass looking for giant whale shadows. Once spotted we aimed the camera up into the sky to see three whales floating about ... which was quite eerie. W rolling with laughter as Trying to capture the perfect Whale shot we ended up cry laughing on the ground failing spectacularly and rather ending up with whales hitting Poppy in the head and diving head first into the ground. Its a lot of fun!
If you want something unique and fun to do on this beautiful Sunday, defiantly check out this scavenger hunt that @parnellbusniess have done such a fantastic job creating.
Have fun and I would love to see some better whale photos than ours!!! tag @parnellbusiness or @corner.room.design

Poll: Should we ditch daylight saving? 🕰️
First introduced in New Zealand in 1927 with the passing of the Summer Time Act, it's what we know as 'Daylight Saving' and this year it ends on the first Sunday in April.
While we do get to sleep in this time around, some people would like to scrap the clock tinkering for good.
And why? Some evidence suggests the time changes are bad for our health as they mess with sleep patterns leading to short-term fatigue and affecting mood. Meanwhile the hour change is frustrating for farmers and a nightmare for getting the littlies to sleep. But what's your take?
-
41.5% Yes - get rid of the clock changes
-
56.9% No, I enjoy it
-
1.7% Other - I'll share below
Don't overthink this riddle...
