Make the TVNZ Election debates accessible.
Every vote counts right?
To make every vote count, every voter needs access to candidates and their party policies to a make an informed decision before placing their voting choice.
It's hard when information is limited for countless Deaf and Hard of Hearing voters in NZ.
TVNZ is hosting series of Election debates. TVNZ will only be captioning the Televised debate. They don't want to add a NZSL interpreter to this.
The Young voters debate is being livestream. This won't have captioning or a NZSL Interpreter.
Young Deaf and Hard of Hearing voters end up being excluded from this.
Come on TVNZ - make your Election debates fully accessible.

Poll: Have you ever been bullied?
People associate bullying with children in schools, but it can actually stretch beyond childhood to workplaces or neighbourhoods.
This Friday is Pink Shirt Day, which began in Canada in 2007 when two students took a stand against homophobic bullying after a new student was harassed for wearing pink. People across the globe are now encouraged to wear pink on this day to take a stand against bullying and promote inclusivity.
Have you or your whānau ever experienced bullying? Share your thoughts on Pink Shirt Day below.
