Kind regards.

Hi dear friends,

I am a postman and have to work during the lockdown time.
There were not less people walking, running and cycling outside today. Some times, it is a group of a family. Staying at home is the best and safest way. Please do not go to the public place.
I read a true story written by an American guy who was infected by the virus because he visited her wife who worked at a hospital and sent her a bunch of flowers. He just stayed there for less than 30 seconds.
Do not go to public places. Especially, do not touch those facilities, which may be have been touched by an infected person. The virus can survive for some hours on the surface of some objects.
Please stay at home for the safety of your family and your neighbors during the special time.
Staying at home can help break the transmission chain early and help end the lockdown.
God bless New Zealand.

Replacing the private long-distance bus terminal would cost ratepayers

Todd Niall Reporter from Auckland Stuff

Hi Neighbours, If the long-distance bus terminal moves out of Sky City's complex, ratepayers will probably foot the bill. Ngāti Whātua opposes AT's plan to put it on their land. See below what it would look like, but should it stay where it is ?

a bit of banter: Day 14 of Social Distancing

Owner from British Isles Inn Eatery & Bar - Rothesay Bay

As we end nearly week 2 of the lockdown, I've been thinking about Osama Bin Laden. He was stuck in his house with three wives for a while. I'm beginning to wonder if he called in those Navy Seals himself.

But as we are seeing it so far, only 5 patients are in hospital with the virus. So they are sitting at 50 or 60% occupancy levels. But it means hundreds are at home in pain or other difficulty, needing some surgery or other treatment, which maybe now should start getting back into the system. Those people may only be in hospital overnight, or a few days.

Even if the worst happened, and the virus attacked patient numbers had a ten fold jump, that would mean an extra 50, spread across hospitals all over the country! Not too hard to deal with I am sure. Time for a rethink perhaps? Life is still going on!
