This is NOT a 'lead magnet' - I'm not collecting email addresses or sending out newsletters. (Actually I wanted to do something different for this month's Kiwilaw item in Seasons Magazine, and I wanted to encourage people to know how to scan QR codes. This is Kiwilaw's page from Seasons Magazine.)

We'd be keen to hear about your favourite summer holiday spots in NZ. Is there somewhere you keep returning to year after year and, if so, what are the main attractions? What makes it such a stand-out spot? Any tips you may be able to offer on the best things to see and do there - as well as the best places to grab a drink or bite to eat - would be much appreciated. Please put 'NFP' (not for publication) in your comment if you don't want it to appear in a travel article. Thanks again.

The summary determined establishing a passenger rail service would cost $41m, including $10m for a new central Christchurch station and tourist hub. Annual operating costs were projected to be about $5m.
But ECan chairwoman Jenny Hughey said Government officials advised it would be difficult to get Provincial Growth Fund money for the proposal, despite the summary outlining how it fulfilled eight of the 10 PGF objectives.
