In the same way that your cells donβt know what type of stress you are facing i.e. a π― tiger chasing you or terrible traffic ππππ, they just respond to the signals that your brains sends out in the form of neurotransmitters and hormones.

The same thing happens when you laugh. Although you could be laughing for many different reasons, your cells only know that the happy signals are coming from your brain and respond with healing and relaxing.
