Fenchurch Street road closure
Kia ora Fenchurch/Glen Innes neighbours!
We have a little update about an upcoming road closure on Fenchurch Street.
From Monday 12 August for approx. 1 week (weather dependent), the northern part of Fenchurch Street will be closed to enable the installation of a new stormwater line and manhole. Access will be provided to residents only.
This work will be carried out on behalf of Signature Construction Ltd and Tāmaki Regeneration, as part of a small site development on Fenchurch Street that will deliver 7 new homes for whānau.
Contractors will operate between 7.30am and 3.30pm on Monday to Saturday, and no construction work will be carried out on Sundays.
We apologise for any inconvenience, but greatly appreciate your patience and understanding.
If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact our TRC Engagement Lead,

wooden framing
Hard solid timber used to create wooden framing - free to whoever can use it and pick it up. Some bolted (1.9m x .60), some loose bits. Would love it to be gone.
Poll: As a customer, what do you think about automation?
The Press investigates the growing reliance on your unpaid labour.
Automation (or the “unpaid shift”) is often described as efficient ... but it tends to benefit employers more than consumers.
We want to know: What do you think about automation?
Are you for, or against?
-
9.5% For. Self-service is less frustrating and convenient.
-
43.3% I want to be able to choose.
-
47.2% Against. I want to deal with people.
