Setting your direction for 2024? Here’s a helpful tip
Hi Neighbours, If you find it’s hard to keep to New Year resolutions you are not alone! Its actually really hard to make sustainable changes in our lives.
Setting your ‘compass’ is easier and more effective. Start with one small step in the desired destination. Taking that first step gets you going. Even a little change of direction, something that only takes a couple of minutes, can lead to significant and sustainable change over time.

Are you for, or against?
-
9.3% For. Self-service is less frustrating and convenient.
-
43.6% I want to be able to choose.
-
47.1% Against. I want to deal with people.
Feeling overwhelmed?
Hi Neighbours - If you feel like you can easily get swamped or snowed under, that is something Mindfulness can help with. My clients report that practicing mindfulness helps them feel they can cope better with stressful situations, feeling less overwhelmed.
Mindfulness trains us to paying attention to the present moment, which creates space to observe your thoughts and feelings without getting swept away by them.
I run sessions on the third Monday of each month at Meadowbank Community Centre, 1.30, 75 mins - Next one Monday 16th
