Public Holiday and summer opening hours

Christmas is only days away, so some of our hours are a little different over the holiday period 👇🏼

🏢 The Paraparaumu, Ōtaki and Waikanae service centres will close from 3pm, 22 December and reopen 9am, Wednesday 3 January 2024.

💧 All our aquatics centres will have slightly different opening hours between 24 December 2022 and 3 January 2023.

📖 Paekākāriki, Waikanae and Ōtaki libraries last day of the year is Saturday 23 December, Paraparaumu Library's last day is Sunday 24 December. All Kāpiti Coast District Libraries reopen on Wednesday 3 January.

Food Recall: ABC brand Sweet Soy Sauce Kecap Manis (275ml, 600ml and 6kg)

Big T Asian Supermarket is recalling ABC brand Sweet Soy Sauce Kecap Manis (275ml, 600ml and 6kg) due to the presence of undeclared allergens (gluten, soy, sulphites & wheat).

People with a gluten, soy, sulphites or wheat allergy should not consume these products. If you are not allergic to gluten, soy, sulphites or wheat, this recall does not affect you.
