Missing Dog 🐶

Helen from Glendowie

UPDATE: JACK HAS BEEN FOUND! THANKS TO LAURA FOR AMAZINGLY CATCHING HIM & TO EVERYONE WHO RESPONDED.HE IS SLEEPING OFF HIS ORDEAL AFTER A GOOD MEAL & LOTS OF LOVE. ❤. Hi neighbour's,my friend rescued this sweet staffy x from a foster family yesterday in the hope of giving him a furever loving home as she recently lost her dog Millie to cancer. His name is Jack & he is 18mnths old & came from a severely abusive situation where he was chained up & beaten. Unfortunately, when she let him out for a toilet break in her yard,he scaled one of the over 6ft walls & has been on the run since yesterday early evening. He is extremely timid, good with other dogs, & has a lovely, gentle nature. At least he was given a meal so did have a full tummy. He has a rego tag round his collar & the foster parents & dog control have been informed . If anyone has seen him,(last seen at the end of Riddell rd,park end) or is lucky enough to catch Jack, please call me on 02108860732.Thanks kindly. He is a very sweet dog who has had a loveless life.😥

Some Choice News!

Kia pai from Sharing the Good Stuff

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?

Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
